sir this class is that i enjoyed a lot , we did some exercise that i like most n now i m thinking that now we can do much better is very difficult to evaluate myself but i think that i acheived a lot in this class so i give 8 marks n exploration i think i could do more i did few so i give 7 marks out of 10 .

howr u?hope..........very fine...sir as i told u yesterday that it was my best class bcoz in this class some of my big confusions are solved and we are introduced with new aspects of design like{exercise of give ur producct free}we enjoyed all the exercises related to market, users, manufactureres n products etc.n we made our 1st productit was a great experiens.
in this class i achieved 80%
n in explorations i think i explore 70% i could do more but it was my 1st time thats why but in future i,ll try to do more explorations to make final prototype

hi sir,
after our disscussion in the studio ive come to the conclusion that i can come up with a product which uses artificial light as well as natural light for providing a different ambiance to the concerned space. it could be done in materials like metal sheet ,glass, terra cotta , fiber glass etc.

another new design of kntfe
sir,
this is my 2 new design of knife. upper part is made up of mettal n the lower part is made up of wood . its outer surface have 4 finger griper point for handelling smoothly. i made one hole at the base bcoz it contain a cutter. this cutter extract out the seed part of fruit. i made another hole for hanging. top upper part is like V shape. its have blade for cutting fruit. in the middle part of knife is also to remove the cover of the veg n fruit.

about my tandur
sir this is my new design of tandur .i did survey of diferent tandurs n i get that there should be some whole in the coal container so i made some whole at the base of lower container n base of upper container is made up of steel so that the container warm up early . total height of the tandur is 40 cm n ht of upper container is 22 cm nht of lower is 15 cm 3 cm is leg"s ht .ther is a plate at lower for dust n ash bcoz there is whole for air passing . n in this i give a cap also . aluminium foil will be there .

this pro is divided into 2 parts .
1. cap = its outer surface have 5 griper point for handelling smoothly and forcefully puishing.

this pro is made up of wood and mettal. top part of the knife is V shape and there are blades both side of the knife . they useful for cutting fruit $ veg as for the requirement of the user. in the middle part of the knife is also to remove the cover of the veg $ fruit.

this pro is made up of mettal or clay lower part contain large plate and upper part contain small. it have a rounded handle this is useful for handelling.so we can put a one place to another ( dianning table, kitchen ) . it have 3 legs to provide assistance to it .

my another redesign pro is fruit basket . this is divide in a 3 parts. upper containers inner part are rounded curve. so this part contain like a banana. and middle $ lower part contain some other veg , fruit. because all the veg , fruits shape are not same. this pro is made up from wood .

explaination of my another design
with the same prod.(salt container) my another is a small tandur that v can put on the dining table can take garam chapati during lunch or dinner .usually garam cahati give mare taste rather then the cold one so keep it in mind i design this .

first i design plate for fruit chat (that green one) in which there is a plate to put choped fruit n the corner of the plate is folded upword something like that fruits protect to fall down .n then the small plate which is stik 2 the bigger plate n the shape is same as the bigger one this plate is 4 to put different kind of masala . n in center there is abowl which is 4 eat the fruit chat the person will take fruit n masala according 2 his/her desire.usually the fruit chat maker give fruit n masala n may be the eater dont like that fruit n the quantity of masala . in my design the eater can tke both fruit n chat according to there desire.

sir here i have posted some designs related to hanger.in this assignment 1st of all i noticed abt use of hanger n n it's related activities like we use hanger to hang cloths in cupboard n something else to get a systemized cupboard.some times we hang well pressed cloths n some times durty clothsn we also use hangers for meke cloths dry in sunlight. n it's related opportunities r we can make a drawer for putting cloths inside it n by this we can protect cloths frm insects i also designed a big wooden hanger which can be rotated for hanging cloths n hangers also on it's hooks n i designed a bag shaped kit we can open it, protect insects n hang it.n 2 more wooden hangers they r also 4 hanging cloths n there is a bag also for putting durty cloths n it also can be hanged any where by it;s long belt it would be made in thik fabric.sir now plz guide us r we on the right track or not?

It doesnt have any permanent definition bur we can say that all our works are some kind of design.

- in this unit they use rajasthani mitti 4 making products they use that mitti bcoz this mitti available in rajasthan easily
- they make a dough of that miti &keep it 4 d another procesor till d miti take it rite rigidity.
- they use wheel 2 give shape of mitti prods. &make al d prods. ,rest mitti they cover polythene sheet 2 protect d mitti (not 2 get dry)in environment.
- they put all d prod. 4 dry in normel environment on d side where they make prods. on wheel.
- after this there were 2 bhathi chamber 4 cook the products . they put 8-9 hours all d prods. in bhatuis 2 get d prods. hard &well cookat 850 deegry c temp.
- after com out frm bhatti all d prods. get color (pp paint)
- then d patina polish they use 2 d prods. &after that polish d teracotta prodts. give different look &prods.like wood or metal prors. bcoz of that patina polish.
- after al this things d prods. come 4 packaging , they do packaging by there own wid hand no machine they use 4 packaging . after packing in cardboard box &inside that box a thermacol layer was there 2 protect d prods. frm breakage.
- after packaging they throw d box frm atleast 3 feet height 2 cheak that d during loading the box on vehicle d prods. should be safe.
- the most unhealthy point in manufacturing is around 30-40% prods. are waistage till d prods. come 2 reach till d end point .

i will send d defination of design 2morow . today visit bagru dillip's industry pvt. ltd. 4 furniture n teracota .we got a lot of information abt these material .we go through all d manufacturing process of d both material from d row material to packing .

all d matchines cutting, planer, pollishing etc they mostly use mango wood 4 products all d work they do in production unit. then assemble unit came where they do pollish, packing things they do there .

how r u? hope....very fine. first of all sorry for being late in sending mail actually yesterday we were getting informations abt factories related to our products frm our senoirs. n when we got all the informations then we came to the net lab to find out the defination of design but unfortunately internet was not working n today we went to the factories of mr. dileep bath.so we ll send u the defination of design tommorow.
now i m goin to write down my experience abt those factories. we saw 2 factories the first one was furniture n second was of terracotta. there was so much to learn n we did our try our best to learn as much as we can.we knew the whole process of furniture making frm row material to packaging. we saw many machines related to cutting of the wood,polishing etc. n we also asked them abt the row material they mostly work on mangoo wood n we also saw their different rooms like production room ,assemble unit n polishing house n packaging room we took some photographs also we ll show u tomorrow.

I think design can not be explained in definite terms because it is such a huge phenomenon that can not be conceived by a few lines.as we all knowthat thinkers & philosophers around the world have tried to explain design in their own words and from my point of view design can not be differentiated from other feilds or subjects it is such a process through which we try to make sense of things & make developments in every phase of life to make this earth an easier place to survive & flourish.
